“ An amazing barbecue restaurant in Savoy Plaza! There're sufficient and wide spaces inside, and I remember the music they played were country music. Love the vibes! I ordered a plate with three choices: Ribs, Burnt Ends, and Wings. I chose Mac&cheese and salad as the sides with a cornbread. They were really delicious, and I especially love the burnt ends, which was soft but not so greasy even when you're almost full! Besides, they provide six different options of sauce, including sweet, hot, and chili mango. It's so interesting to try each kind of sauce and finally select your preferences! ”

First impression was super casual diner type looking, only because of the corrugated tin- safe to say- super casual! We're general fans of Black Dog- but we were hungry and had no time for that. We were sat right away, our waitress was friendly and even w speakers above our head, I was thankful that w as lg space as theirs, we could actually have a conversation. Our food was delivered hot and quickly- and holiness- I think we just found our favorite new barbecue place! My partner ordered a brisket horseshoe. I've never had one before- it was amazing, he loved it! I had a classic pulled Turkey, it just warmed my heart! Melt in your mouth, fall apart, 4 oz of smokey madness. The only big noticeable difference on this one, (from Black Dog) was the buttered burger bun used. I personally found it to be lighter and actually enjoyed it a bit more. Loves their amazing beer selection. We were happy with the Hefeweizen on draft. Our waitress was knowledgeable and able to answer the cooking process behind the scene; info about the restaurant; was even more impressed she deferred questions she had no clue about, offering to get an answer vs making something up. Seems like we were the only strangers, as folks seemed to leave with an, 'Excellent as always, we'll be back!'; 'Yep, had to come back.'; or a, 'It's so good to see you back again!' All signs of an excellent business. In the end, we were a, 'Definitely, will be back again!' The food is awesome, prices fantastic, service excellent. Two doors down from Buffalo Wild Wings in the Savoy (Theatre) Plaza, S. Neil St, in Savoy. We've just placed our Grub Hub order 30 mins ago, as I type this review... and it's here! “ Restaurant review Yeah for sauce variety as noted by Timothy T. I came here for lunch and had the pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides. The sides of mac and cheese and au gratin tater were okay. Sort of like out of the box which means that they were not that good, but the pulled pork sandwich had a great smokey flavor to it that I doused with a healthy helping of BBQ sauce. I don't remember which one I used but that sauce was amazing. I wanted to actually drink it right up if it was possible. All and all the sauce made up for the lack luster sides. i think i will be back to try the dinner menu and some BBQ ribs as well Pro: great BBQ sauce, friendly service Cons: sides were a bit of a let down, sort of from the box experience Hidden gem: 1.
